Sharon qualified in massage in 1990 and went on to open her 1st business “Healing Hands Wellness Centre” in 1985 with her husband, after a few years of working mobile. Sharon left Healing Hands in 2009 and shortly after this joined the team at “One Allan Park’ in Stirling. In 2013 Sharon decided to return to Fife when she got the fantastic opportunity to open her own practice within ‘Raw Anatomy Gym’, this was when Raw Mechanics was born. For the next few years, Sharon enjoyed working with top athletes within Fife and surrounding areas, as well as many of the members of the gym. In 2016 Sharon took over ownership of Healing Hands again and within the year things changed again. 2017 saw Sharon bring together all her businesses under one roof and upgraded to bigger premises to fulfil her vision of providing a truly holistic health service. This was when Sharon became The Mind & Body Mechanic working within Healing Hand Wellness Centre.

Both businesses continued to successfully grow strong. They even won the title Fife Wellness Centre of the Year 2020.

Just a month later covid hit and everything went into lockdown. The health industry was hit hard and due to the government restrictions, Sharon had to make the difficult decision to close the doors of ‘Healing Hands Wellness Centre’ permanently and the team all went their separate ways.

Sharon ‘The Mind & Body Mechanic’ continued to offer her services to the local community when the covid regulations allowed her. Business continues to grow from strength to strength as she flourishes as the business world was allowed to get back to a bit of normality in 2021.

2021 and 2022 were difficult years for Sharon personally, and thanks to her loyal clients she continues to thrive as ‘The Mind & Body Mechanic’.

2023 finally has her back in the driving seat of her business and has many exciting things for the year ahead including new practices and moving to new premises.
