Mind Therapies

Mental health are words everyone talks about but they’re not sure what to do to keep a healthy mindset but we offer clients tools and therapies to start them on a more positive mental health journey. These treatments can be life saving for many, not just the client but the people around them too.

Hypnotherapy

Despite how the movies portray hypnotherapy, there is no swinging pocket watch involved and we certainly won’t be taking control of your mind so you are made to quack like a duck or bark like a dog. This is all for entertainment purposes and not for a clinical setting.

Hypnotherapy is an incredible, relaxing experience! During a hypnotherapy session, the therapist will discuss with you what you hope to achieve from your session, (e.g. stop smoking, sleeping issues, relieve anxieties, stop a phobia, weight loss, ease pain etc) then the therapist will guide you into a relaxed, focused trance-like state before taking you on a positive, personal journey in your mind, that will help you change the way you think and behave in the future. You are fully in control when under hypnosis and can bring yourself out of the hypnotic state if you choose.

NLP

Neuro-linguistic programming is a quick and highly effective psychological approach that involves analysing strategies used to change people's negative mindsets. It relates thoughts, language and patterns of behaviour learned through experiences.

This is the most common technique Sharon uses to disconnect the overwhelming emotions from the memories when people suffer from any kind of anxiety whether it was from a trauma, life experiences or overwhelm.

Coaching

A coach is not an expert in a certain field but rather is focused on helping the individual to unblock their own potential. The focus is very much on the individual and what is inside their head. The key skill of a coach is to ask the right questions to help the individual work through their own issues with support.
